Fano is a city alive all year round, with events that unite tradition, culture, music and entertainment. From historical re-enactments to events by the sea, each period offers opportunities to experience the area in an authentic way.

June

In June, among the most impressive events is the Palio delle Contrade, which animates the Rocca Malatestiana with medieval atmospheres, historical challenges and shows for all ages.
Every year, the Music Festival, with concerts spread across the historic centre and the waterfront, and the Passages Festival, which combines books, meetings, exhibitions and workshops in a unique setting overlooking the sea.

July

In July, summer comes into its own with the Thursdays under the stars, evenings dedicated to families and children with games, shows and entertainment in the historic centre.
With Fanum Fortunae the city goes back to Roman times with encampments, figures and historical re-enactments.
There is no shortage of great musical events such as Fano Jazz, an international event between music, art and contemporary culture.
In Torrette, the impressive Wish Night, with shows, markets and fireworks over the sea.

August

August is the month of traditions with the Sea Festival, popular with tourists and residents alike.
With Around Fano you can experience the historic centre with tastings, guided tours and evening events.
For families, the Toyland, with fairytale settings and children's shows.
Completing the calendar is the historic St Bartholomew's Fair e Fano Fiorisce, event that turns the city into a big garden with flowers, music and workshops.
